had pretty much pruned his tree down to a very low and unimpressive and sickly shrub --- by the time the US changed it's mind (different Bushs in office) and finished toppling him in a walk-over.

Kinda conflicts with all the demolib predictions of doom and gloom and tens of thousands of body bags....
