I would heap on every popular theory - the more ridiculous the better evolution will look IMHO. I think you give children too little credit to not be allowed to ask the questions when presented the theories - to hide the most "popular" theories would be a disservice in learning.


Popular? Not with the people I know. I think this is an example of a very vocal minority getting its food in the door. Hopefully, the door will slam shut real hard.

If the theories have absolutely zero basis in science, why should they be taught in a science class?
