Would driving be more or less dangerous if we had unlimited speed limits?

I have read that the accident and injury rate is higher in Europe, but they are willing to pay the price.

It's the "wide open spaces" of the American west that annoy me. They could easily handle higher speed laws, but the "national nannies" won't have it.

One of the great freedoms you enjoy in most of Europe is not having to worry about a speeding ticket.

There is a price.

When I was stationed in Germany, they had 1/2 the cars and 2x the auto accident fatality rate that we had.
