Ted, Which comes first: the chicken or the egg? The area is so bad its mostly people who are into the money and usually the least qualified that apply.

Having heard the stories first-hand, I am confident that the problem is much more management than location. But either way, it's a prime example of a problem that won't be solved by throwing money at it. Unfortunately, local politics is so dominated by community activism that a bad hospital is deemed better than none at all.

By the way, the consulting firm that was hired by the county to fix King Drew (The Navigants) was themselves caught reporting too many hours worked. When that story broke, the very next day there were lots of Navigants seen milling around in the hallways looking busy. No joke; this is how bad it is.
