I agree. Something needs to be changed..

Throwing dumb kids in with smart kids created a bunch of dumb kids and tenure created teachers that would fail their own subjects...

Either/or... the second will probably get you better results but leave us with a shortage of teachers.

In the last ten years, NC has had a huge increase in its NEAH test scores..........they are the state that has done the most success to close the achievement gap. They implemented an 11 point strategy.........one of those points was to identify schools where children were more difficult to teach and giving the teachers higher pay to work in those schools.
