problem they do not know they are yankees.. unless we are talking about baseball. hardly anyone even knows where the mason dixon line is located. Kind of hard to think about people south of philly (pa.) being red necks. Now you all know Baltimore is red neck country.. yes, you can't count them as yankees. those people around the belt way, (wonder how many are citizens of u.s.) are not yankees..I knew i was south when i met friendly people and they told to me to "have a nice day , ya hear"!... I knew i made it. I broke out in the first smile in thirty years. no more gruff remarks from boston, ny, philly was starting to warm up but va. made the difference. ggg ps those snow birds moving in are not yankees they came from Canada.
