did Pacific Heights mark the top of the 80s bubble? i thought it was early 90s, in which case it marked the bottom, which would kind of make sense, since it was like a horror flick. i think Texas Chainsaw Massacre was supposed to mark some kind of bottom as well. haven't seen Money Pit. there was also a Japanese film with English title of something like Crazy Family, back in the 80s. these peoples' house got eaten by termites.

Have you seen the "Property Ladder" series on TLC yet? A poster child if there ever was one. Anyone know of any new RE related movies in the pipeline? Or a retro Miami Vice series instead with developers and financeers in cahoots with local politicians with tons of preconstruction cocktail parties, gorgeous woman, romance, nice waterfront scenes, murder, extortion, greed, and fortunes quickly made and lost <g>
