Alan, did you actually read this post? Message 21567405 The investigations of Halliburton I was discussing are being conducted by several federal investigatory agencies (and at least one foreign government). These are serious allegations that are being investigated, and have absolutely nothing to do with Howard Dean or Michael Moore. Do you think the Washington Post is Democratic pulp fiction? Did you read their article where Halliburton itself in an internal investigation is acknowledging something that looks like bribery? It's really hard to have a serious discussion when people are just flippant and quick to make fun without seemingly reading the information in the posts they are mocking.
