I had lunch with a Wamu loan guy yesterday (along with famous celebrity who sometimes post here). So I asked him about all the aggressive lending practices common in the industry today, such as 100% financing. He said Wamu would not do anything like that. I followed up and ask him what is the lowest down payment Wamu would do? 3% I bursted out laughing.
