I agree with you, momentum oscillators are most useful when trends are oscillating !

The oscillators can still be used, but are most useful in medium-term and long-term time frames. The shorter the time frame, the less useful they become.

Overseas markets generally down, oil rising back up over $61 again, determined to test $70 within the next few months IMHO.

Index futures down quite a bit right now, despite generally very good earnings news. Looks like we'll see a moderate gap down at the open.
