That's a horse that is so dead I'm not going to beat it anymore. Bush won by the constitutional provisions that he and Gore ran under. God save us all if those provisions ever go the direction that you are suggesting.

In a Democracy, the winner of the popular vote should win the office. However, in the 2000 Presidential election, that did not happen.
