zofsilence, re:You are, of course, aware, that that's not what's being proposed. Yes - the wording they use is "along side evolution theory". Not acceptable, but a compromise could be struck to allow the exploration of ID and every other creation story or theory in the context of exposure to alternate explanations - as well as what the scientific method is or even a review of junk science. If they want to open that door I say kick it wide open with every theory, not just ID. Here's a good book to use: amazon.com
