the last time i was there, however, there was about 3 to 4' of snow, so hiking wasn't an option

It was raining and dreary for much of Monday, so we were pretty limited in our hiking too. Just leaves more to do another time. :)

I not only hiked the entire length of the Canyon at Bryce but I hiked AND WADED Zion (had to wade around that corner there). I just love it. Incidentally, my ex partner (Rob Bryce was the great grandson of the Bryce who found that canyon when searching for some lost livestock. When he went there and showed his identification he STILL had to pay to get in. We had a good laugh about that. jdn
