While I believe in ID, I would rather it not be taught in public schools when Evolution is being taught. If a school wants to add ID when religion is taught - I've got no problem with that.

If we add the concept of an Intelligent Creator to Biology (and the teaching of evolution), then shouldn't we add an Intelligent Creator to help explain the principles that govern other sciences are the way they are: Astronomy, Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Geology, ...?

Can't we say that the reason we can't measure or observe what happened to the Universe before the Big Bang is because an Intelligent Creator doesn't want us to see before the Big Bang? Can we teach that Maxwell's equations, and the Speed of Light were rules that an Intelligent Creator used in designing the Universe (we could even teach when the Creator invented those rules and constants)? Can we teach that an Intelligent Creator caused a giant rock to hit the Earth over 60 million years ago, to end the age of the dinosaurs - leaving room for mammals and Man?
