Moderate realistic honest Christians don't like the religious right. There's a big article in USA Today today about how they are organizing in Ohio to put a stop to the rightwing pretending to represent the church. The church is made up of millions of liberals, moderates and honest conservatives who do not agree with the far rightwing (see Schiavo, 80% against the rightwing there including 50% of evangelicals). Also, we cannot trust these televangelist "prosperity ministry" types. Many of them are just greedy conmen fleecing their flocks, many of whom are the most gullible people in our society.
