Tell that to the Knight-Ridder journalist recently gunned down by one of our guys, or the Iraqi mayor. If you're trying to say we're not killing thousands of innocent Iraqis as a by-product of killing the bad ones you're really being dishonest. This is urban warfare. If a sniper takes a potshot at us from a window, we take down the entire building. Entire families get crushed to death. Get real.

Read "Generation Kill" a great book about the invasion. You'll learn a lot about the reality of what our troops go through every day. It's not a black and white situation at all. They try to do their best but there are a lot of grey areas. Even a few black areas. Abu Graiab was another example. Some of our troops are not exactly righteous or not exactly sane. They're trained killers with enormous firepower. Killing can get addicting. Sometimes it's legal murder. But we support them anyway. The war is not their fault it's Bush's.
