evolution is simply a general self evident bit of common sense that says a population will be effected by the stresses placed upon it. The effect being that those best adapted to the conditions will by change be more likely to procreate and pass on the characteristics that helped them survive to procreate in the first place. Indeed. So, then, what's the big problem with teaching it in the public schools? Why do we need to protect our children from it by banning it or offering an alternative? What's all the fuss about?
