Gosh that sounds just lovely. So peaceful! I bet she was so happy to share her passion with someone that appreciates her efforts. I have always admired people that have the energy and stamina to create fantasy gardens. And her collection sounds remarkable. You must have spent hours looking at and listening to the stories behind each piece.......which I know you would eat up with a big spoon......and wandering through her garden. Not many of us get that opportunity. Does she live relatively close to you? Your interest in genealogy has certainly taken you down paths you otherwise might not have found. ;) M
