What, you're going to say CBS polls dont count? The CEO of Viacom which owns CBS endorsed Bush. Enough with the BS about CBS being somehow against Republicans. If they were against Republicans their Bush-supporting CEO would fire them and replace them with Fox News types. CBS also has traditionally the most conservative programming of the big three because their core demographics are older, middle American white. Whoever started the myth about CBS being "liberal" is in the disinformation business. They're just afraid 60 MINUTES might tell the truth about the hundreds of Bushie rightwing scandals and corruption cases. They're afraid of CBS's hard-won credibility.

As for Rather's GW Bush Guard story, it was all true. And it's very possible Karl Rove planted the phony witness in order to discredit the story. Rove has done similar things throughout his career. Very very tricky man. Planting false evidence on his opponents is a dirty tricks stroke of genius.
