Get real. And have some respect for our press. When you get rid of a strong press, you fall towards totalitarianism, something many on the far right would love. Don't help them achieve their evil goals. The biggest mistake the NY Times ever made was believing Bushies on the WMD's and the need to invade Iraq without a plan. That was their biggest mistake ever. Jayson Blair is insignificant. Just a con artist who slipped in. Dan Rather never would have been dumped by CBS if he wasn't overdue for retirement anyway and low in the ratings. Bill O'Reilly's sex harassment, Hannity's serial lies and Limbaugh's drug addiction didn't cost them their jobs only because of profitable ratings.
