They cancelled Crossfire because Jon Stewart came on and told them to cut the divisive BS. And Stewart was right. As Stewart is right about almost everything these days.

Notice Tucker Carlson's new show is much less divisive and has liberals and conservatives actually agreeing half the time. Even when they disagree it's never nasty or personal like Hannity-Colmes. Hannity, Coulter, Bennett and the others have really hurt this country with their insult-instead-of-debate tactics which are so artificially one-sided they force people to be either for or against. Actually that "hjate your opponent" mentality ius really Karl Rove's responsibility. His idea is to divide, hoodwink, smear and conquer. He smears democrats and hoodwinks gullible non-rich conservatives.

The proper policy is somewhere in the middle, and to have an honest debate. Bushies would call that "flip-flopping". That is, seeing both sides of an issue and only agreeing with one side or another conditionally. That is how democracy works best.
