I've got news for you, Ted. The real enemy is the terrorists. They don't care for your "understanding" or your "grieving." Nor do their sympathizers. You talk as if you hold a monopoly on reason, yet the terrorists aren't impressed or even fooled by it. You preach openness and tolerance, yet it's your very way of life that the terrorists abhor. You hate Bush for pushing the "intelligent design" theory, but boy are you going to go nuts if the terrorists have it their way and you are forced to worship Allah. You don't think abortion is murder, yet the "free sex" lifestyle that makes abortion "necessary" in your mind is exactly the kind of lifestyle the terrorists find shocking. You might want to rethink the whole notion that guys like me are your "enemy," because the truth is that guys like me probably understand you a lot more than the terrorists do. Tenchusatsu

I really don't get that one either - people seem to have a hard time with profiling for ME young males. It's nearly laughable the objections on this subject - it's like randomly stopping blacks when you know the KKK is doing bad things. When the terrorists start turning up looking like Tim McVay, then start stopping young white guys as well. Nothing is stopping for profit companies from spending their profits on research - considering how much US drug companies over charge us already the money won't make a dent. I've been listening to the medical miracle talk for a long time and it's long on promises and light on products. If I thought a few million bucks would make a difference in my own diabetes, I'd be all over sending them more money. Sadly the treatment is exactly the same as in my grandfathers day 50 years ago - only the drugs have changed a bit over time - but it's still four shots a day. We could do a lot more good by passing frivolous lawsuit reform for drug makers too timid to try anything for fear of litigation.
