I'm not sure it precludes ID as much as it describes how species evolve over time. ID has this idea that everything is just so complex it can't be random. Even saying perhaps an alien intelligence seeded earth and evolution occurred after that. But then you're left with how did the aliens evolve?


Hence my belief that evolution should just be confined to biology, and "intelligent design" be confined to philosophy.


That's like ignoring the elephant in the room.

One way would be if each big bang had a set of physical properties, but only those whose properties allowed intelligent life had people pissing and moaning about it.
