El mat I meet many workers already who do not suffer from lack of education or what the codes ARE - they have the knowledge - they are the ones sometimes showing me what is wrong - here is the problem though - they can do the RIGHT work - which takes a long time - or they can move on to the next customer and do quick jury rig and make big bucks - so here is how I see it here - they can do a GOOD job and make 500 a day - or they can do sloppy work and do more jobs in a day and make 1500 - what did the bible say was the root of all evil? The love of money no? Now someone that intends to stay in the community and make it home and maybe worry about pissed off joe pesci coming up with a baseball bat not gonna make MONEY priority one - but here, I meet way too many people that are coming here just to make cash quick and tell me they are leaving as soon as they have sucked the area dry for all they want - see that is bad way to build a community or society. Landlords don't care about quality work like a home owner it seems - they give in to quick jury rig work. The standards ARE NOT being upheld El mat - too much growth - too fast - too much coruption. Like in Bombay - it will keep going until lots of people die and even then I don't know if it will stop. You talk of yourself coming here to make the big bucks - see that is the MACRO problem - you would come here - be tempted by the easy money - make the fast quick buck - and then retire somewhere away from here I bet - that is the problem now. We dont need more el mats coming for fast big bucks, need more el mats coming because they want to live here and do quality work and plan to stay here. I have met very few people immigrant or no that plan to retire in this area - they all say they are here for the money and want to LIVE somewhere else. Now I bet that place they LIVE - they probably want higher standards.
