Thanks Jeff .. I'll look em over ... FCC is easing up on the Bells .. DSL .. Networkers may befefit in the future. WSTL is the Modem MFG .. and ORCT "had" a good DSL modem too. Message 21576621 MOT and TXN hold patents on the chips .. I just think the Bells may be too far behind now ... but that never stopped them from being late to the party. Foot Draggers. They shoulda spent the Cap Ex in 95 for ADSL. It just blows away DSL .. That's TXNs Baby. They Bot ADSL from AMTX. ADSL vs DSL is like a Yugo against a BMW M Class. DSL will now be considered an "information service" instead of a "telecommunications service." a distinction that puts DSL in line with the classification of cable modem services. The change in semantics was expected after the U.S. Supreme Court's ruling in the Brand X case just five weeks ago.
