I dont think anyone is doing that. The Minutemen are certainly not.

Seriously, life as illegal immigrants sucks. Only the desperate come and stay in this fashion. The smart PhDs really don't like to live life that way.

This is simple. Politicians see the eductaed immigrants as competing with voters. Illegals compete in the labor market with people who don't vote and reduce the cost of services to those who do vote.
