The "swing vote" in this country is middle/lower class.

Perhaps, but it couldn't possibly be because they revisit their thinking. I could see a susceptibility to populist pitches from different camps, though--emotional rather than ideological realigment.

The "Archie Bunkers" of this world are not what the blue collars are about. The "swing vote" in this country is middle/lower class

That sounds right from my own experience. My parents and everyone I knew growing up was an "undecided". They vote based on what they like about the candidate, and the candidate's promises. They don't have an articulated ideological position. They're the ones that are swayed by campaign rhetoric, slick marketing, and sloganeering.
