The Glenrothes '74 has been praised in many magazines and sprits newsletters as being among the best single malts ever. The Glenrothes I bought was actually 32 yrs old when it was bottled. It's the '72 and was the first bottle of single malt scotch I ever bought. So I am anything but a connoisseur. I was looking for something to drink on occasion other than good red wine. Can you PM me the name of a magazine you find worthwhile? I'm interested in learning more about single malts.
