I think it is a very dangerous game of brinkmanship. Iran gives oil contracts to Russia and China, the big boys who by their very involvement gives Iran the courage to continue threatening to continue development of nuclear warheads. (They are probably going full tilt right now to arm missiles with nuclear warheads) while pretending to talk to the European bloc about the matter. The US is letting slip possible attack by Israel to scare Iran. The wild card is Israel who is avowed to keeping their survival as a nation, no matter what it takes to do so.
