What it means is that you clearly see no problem with using language like "CHRISTIAN QUEER" It is beneath you to trivialize the use of this type of language. What he definitely did not mean by calling me a "CHRISTIAN QUEER" was that I was peculiar, or odd. Frankly if someone used that language to wards you I would object to it but I see that is a difference between us. That is a poor reflection on you my friend.

However, perhaps he meant it to refer to "bigoted" or to "derogatory"?? But he said "bigoted" AND "derogatory". The conjunctive "AND" needs to include both words to reflect the meaning of bolding and capitalization. As these words are adjectival, he must be referring to homosexuality. But he may not have intended to. He may have intended that bolding and capitalizing "clearly" means it is derogatory. He has interesting ideas, for sure... "The word "Queer" in bold and capitalized by you. Clearly it was a bigoted and derogatory reference to homosexuality." If you bold and capitalize, it "clearly" means you are making a bigoted reference to homosexuality! If I had said Christian FAKE it would have "clearly" been a bigoted reference to homosexuality--provided it was bolded and capitalized, of course! :-) It all reminds me of that poor soul in the bible who was gathering FAGGOTS to keep warm and was murdered on the command of God. NUMBERS recounts the tale: 15:32 And while the children of Israel were in the wilderness, they found a man that gathered sticks upon the sabbath day. 15:33 And they that found him gathering sticks brought him unto Moses and Aaron, and unto all the congregation. 15:34 And they put him in ward, because it was not declared what should be done to him. 15:35 And the LORD said unto Moses, The man shall be surely put to death: all the congregation shall stone him with stones without the camp. 15:36 And all the congregation brought him without the camp, and stoned him with stones, and he died; as the LORD commanded Moses. Now this man probably gathered firewood every day of his life without mishap. His error was in being observed by the "children of Israel"--and thus entering into the mythology of those tribes.
