Just six months ago he was complaining that liberals and the liberal media were making Iraq look worse than what it really was.......that, in fact, things were getting better. I didn't see it, don't have time to read all the posts these days. But I predicted it... based on how Vietnam unfolded. Now they are saying it was mishandled, eventually they will say it was a mistake from the start, and claim that's what they thought all along. Note that even on this thread you get very few supporting the war anymore... now they are saying OK it's a mess let's not dwell on it, where do we go from here. Well screw them, we need to dwell on it, on all the dead and crippled people on both sides, on the huge expense, on the cost to the US reputation in the world, on the terrorism created. They were so wrong and it cost so much, they need to admit it... so maybe it's not so easy next time. It's all their fault. The US can't go to war without the braindead hawks. John
