Trillions in borrowed money can juice any economy. But who is going to pay off the massive Bush debts? Not the rich apparently.

These defivcits are many times bigger than the huge Reagan deficits which sunk Bush Sr's economy for four years and Clinton's for two. Only after both Bush and Clinton raised taxes did the economy solidify again.

Greenspan is an enigma. He dropped interest rates almost to zero to help juice Bush's economy. That helped a lot. But experts say he dropped them too far and that they've been artificially low. So far so good but there's going to be a big bill to pay one of these days. If the real estate market collapses all bets are off. One thing we know, Bush won't be around then to worry about it. He's leaving his deficits to the next guy.

Also, we've been hemmoraging manufacturing jobs. The new jobs are in services mostly or construction juiced by the low interest rates. All that could collapse soon.
