Well what happened in Vietnam was OIL related again, imo, because at that time, the South China Sea was thought to have been VERY permissive for the discovery of tremendous reserves of oil..

You really think so, Coug? Those were the same stories I was hearing in the late 60's, but there was never any real discussion about it. Sort of this low level story going thru the anti-war community.

Veddy interesting. Some of the first cars were electric or even steam powered. The easily available oily stuff mowed all the alternatives down.

I wonder if the history of the oil run car will run its course in a century and a half and then be kaput.
