Tigers are living on borrowed time. Sheep aren't.

Every sheep I know is living on borrowed time.

The reason humans raise sheep and not tigers is sheep are passive, non-threatening and easy to kill.

We kill and eat passive, non-threatening and easy to kill cows too. Ditto for chickens and salmon.

We have laws to protect tigers, alligators, grizzly bears and other dangerous species...probably out of respect.
If we ever figure out how to manage them in feed lots, those laws will be rescinded by hungry humans.

Even if everybody became vegetarians, we still need wool. If, for nothing else, Oriental rugs -- no synthetic fiber can compare for beauty, crush resistance, and longevity.
