Ah, I see. I thought it was the guy who hit your car who left the note.

Never had it happen before or since but if someone hits you and runs off to escape getting caught shouldn't this be a criminal offense of some kind?

Yeah, I guess so. No different from any other kind of property damage, like vandalism.

The guy who left the note should have included contact information so he could serve as a witness.
