Perhaps there are some Canadians whose opinions are relevant on the subject of American politics.

You speak as if the issue was Bush winning re-election! Nixon won re-election too - in case you need reminding

Did Bush "win" if he's impeached a la Nixon? And if the whole country realizes he cheated, smeared, failed and lied?

Think about the shame, disgrace and harm to the GOP longterm than Bush-Cheney are doing by abusing their power now. For the short-term abuses, gas-gouging and power grabs, they are costing the GOP and rightwing long-term. Indeed, once we're finished with Rovegate, DElaygate, HalliburtonGate, the Iraq War, adding up the trillions in new deficits and impeachment proceedings, no honest voter will go near those creeps of their followers for a decade.
