The Times endorsed George Pataki for governor in 1998 and 2002.

As for Spitzer, et al, my guess, and it's only that, is they are waiting to see what kind of story it is.


My guess is they already know what kind of a story it is, and will continue to spike it, until Spitzer files charges, and then there will be a small mention in the Business pages.
