My friend has a Hummer. Rides great on the road, sadly its basically too big for the vast majority of trails we go on not to mention its damn expensive to take off road. I am THINKING of buying the new COMMANDER either in 2,006 or maybe wait a year (to make sure the bugs are out) to 2,007. It has a towing capacity of 7,200 lbs with the 5.7 litre Hemi Engine and Quadradrive II tranny. Hummer I believe only tows 5,900 lbs which is too little to tow my modified Wrangler and trailer. What I REALLY want is the POTENTIAL RESCUE that Jeep MAY come out with in 2,007. Its a 3/4 ton truck frame with a 535 hp diesel (600+ft.lbs of torque), you could tow ANYTHING with that brute, would come STOCK with 37" tires. jdn
