I had a phone line for years, about 3 years ago switched to cable. Once you get that SPEED you never go back. haha. Download pictures almost immediately. jdn

I detest ordinary dial-up. Was an early adopter for every gadget that would speed things up. But I do silly things. Today, I played animal sounds to see how my sleeping cat would react. She hardly moved for the tigers and lions roaring, did raise her head for the yowling kitten, but finally got up to look around for the mockingbird. -g- We love cable -- as we speak, my older son is playing online games while IMing his buddies, my husband is uploading stuff onto eBay, and I was looking at pattern samples of Oriental rug stair runners, all from the same cable box. If I had to go back to dial-up I'd shoot my computer.
