what grade of gasoline were you burning prior. The additives may also be cleaning out the system and that is giving you better mileage. Why not send off an email to xon tech services and ask for their comments. I burn xon top grade and get 18.5 on my bmw 540. if i burn mid grade it drops to 18.mpg.

However buying the higher grade,, not required by bmw specs (bmw specs calls for mid grade) i find my system is also clean. I have put on 73,000 without any required cleaners for my system. still runs very smooth, original plugs , wires, etc.

Sometimes buying unbranded gasoline costs you later in repairs or additives to clean out your system. I wonder what the product does to increase your mileage. I figure you are paying around 2 cents a gallon for the product.

going back a few decades when i used to negotiate terminal agreements with other oil companies you would be surprised in the lack of any additive packages in their gasoline. We would have to set up automatic additive systems at the truck loading rack to bring the gasoline up to our specifications.

That is very interesting JDN. I will be taking three road trips (over 1000 miles each) in the next two months, so would like to maximize my fuel efficiency.

Do you put the additive in every time you fuel up?
