I've do most of my driving in a Honda Civic that gets over 40mpg. Gas cost isn't a big concern for me, and I rarely think about it. I've got a Nissan Pathfinder and a VW Camper van that both get milage in the 17-22 mpg range, but I don't drive them but for fun or hauling stuff.
