My son called me the other night very excited about Google Earth. He had just discovered the service and wanted to know if I had seen it. Coincidentally, I had just downloaded it that morning. We talked a bit about it, but we didn't go into exactly how it works.

After asking my question about the new homes in my neighborhood......being lazy.....I decided to call him back and ask if he'd done any research. The pictures were updated in 2002 and so explains everything.

I'm really hoping that someday we can afford more frequent updates. Say on a six month time table.

Until then I'm with you......Google Earth beats Terraserver.
