Er... I'm quite aware of the history and the policy. No, I was laughing at the idiocy of blaming a potential pandemic --- advancing through central Asia and Russia into Europe as we speak --- upon some sort of moral punishment metted out to one particular country. It's just laugh-out-loud stuff... unless you believe that the particular Deity who is supposed to be dispensing the 'whammy' is near-sighted or vision impaired or something. What a peculiar concept!
