I just found some more smoke.

Yesterday the Army reported a strength increase of 1,259 in June.

On the surface that looks like an improvement. I commented it was much too low because June is supposed to be the biggest recruiting month.

Things are much worse than I thought. I just learned that 1,207 of the Army's reported end of June strength increase is the new West Point Class.

That means, not counting the cadets, real Army strength increased a mere 52 men in June (historically the biggest recruiting month of the year.).

We should get June actual recruiting numbers today or tomorrow.

I had no idea these zoos were RENTING the pandas.

The expense of keeping pandas is high: $1 million a year to China to borrow the animals,

A mil a year. Those dirty capitalist roaders.
