I was hoping there would be more rationality, but after bush's brother started firing scientists for telling it like it is regarding highway construction - what else is there?

www.liftport.com - I would rather they funnel resources into highways into space and not widening highways that won't do much. See florida is a special case, every so often you can count on a hurricane to come and blow the houses and highways away - so people stay employed - but this is the fallacy of the broken window and we don't get to star trek level society wasting resources like this.

why don't they just raise the teachers' pay, or pay off J6P mortgage, with direct subsidy channeled to the banks for write-offs. Anything is better than building bridges that are not needed.
