Hi EP:

>>Some hedge funds are looking to play a housing price boom in Germany. Welcome to the party !<<

Party?! Which party!? >>;P

Our offices are in an office park that's been 80% plus vacancy since 1999. If anybody is looking for a prime quality office space (anywhere from 1000 to 100.000 sqft, no commission, no rent for 6 mo etc) just next to Munich airport, drop me a note.

Feels so ... 20th century to be here in Germany, with everybody and his grandma (US, France, UK, Italy, NZ ...) growing doubledigitly (nice new expression btw) in real estate prices. And in Germany we may have a positive zero for the last 5 years.

I am of course an optimist. But, if somebody can make sure the housing price boom in Germany will start some time soon and then peak in 3 to 5 years, I'll sure appreciate.

In the meantime the boom seems to be in syndicating debt - Lone Star riders & similar riding down the Römerstrasse in Frankfurt am Main.
