Pesticide residues do stay on food, even after harvest. Since pesticides became prevalent in the 1950's, Americans sure are getting a lot of cancers! Even your dog has six or seven times the risk of getting lymphoma if you use pesticides in your yard. I have utterly no idea why anyone who can afford pesticide-free food is not eating it exclusively. Be sure to get organic tofu! And remember that the pesticides in animal food go right into you if you eat animals!
