You are a putz when you say things that are so off the mark that they can just be dismissed out of hand. To blame Clinton for 9/11/01, when Bush was in office for over 8 months is just silly partisanship that ignores the facts. Fact, Bush was in office for 8 months on 9/11/01
and failed to prevent it. Now we know his own military intelligence had identified Atta, yet it still wasn't prevented. I'd blame Clinton 1/3rd and Bush 2/3rd for 9/11/01, since that's the amount of time each had to react to the intelligence on Atta.

Then again, Clarke had a book to sell and free publicity from attacking the current administration is more effective than attacking an administration that no longer exists...

True enough, it would be nice if right wingers learned that lesson as well. Amazing how many still harp on Clinton years after his Presidency has been over. At least some have been honest and criticized Bush for some of his bad policies.
