I live in one of the western Colorado counties effected or affected by oil shale development.

I went broke in the last oil shale boom.... Lost my business. Land. Wife. Left town looking for work with twenty dollars in my wallet.

Seriously. And I was one of thousands.

Houses went from $175,000 to picking them up at auctions for $27k or less.

I am really looking forward to another boom bust cycle.

NOT!
