Propaganda like the babies that were supposedly taken off resparators by Saddam's soldiers in Kuwaitt City. Proven to be an utter fabrication of the PR industry in America. Even the girl who supposedly witnessed this atrocity turned out to have been in the United States at the time living with her father a Kuwatti diplomat. Pure bunk, but it convinced the American people that the war was worth fighting and was presented at a key point right before Congress authorized the war.

Other propaganda like Saddam was threatening Saudi Arabia when satellite images of troop movements did not bear this out. How about how he encouraged the Shites in the south to rebel, only to leave them at the mercy of Saddam? We supposedly fought a just war to kick Iraq out of Kuwaitt, but unjustly slaughtered fleeing Iraqi troops on the "highway of death".

A soverign country was invaded, and virtually the entire world was united to fight Saddam.

You know what's terribly ironic about your statement? Bush, Sr. invaded a soveriegn country called Panama just a year before Saddam invaded Iraq and that invasion was illegal and condemned by the world bodies. The only differenc is that no one has the balls to take the U.S. on when we decide to invade another country.
